Recently, students from PVSchools had the opportunity to compete at the Arizona Science and Engineering Fair (AzSEF), showcasing their scientific endeavors and innovative projects. The event, managed by the Arizona Science Center, gathered first-place winners from various science fairs across the state, offering them a platform to compete for prizes and scholarships.

PVSchools expressed their pride in all participants, stating, "Congratulations to all students who competed in the event! You have made the PVSchools community proud, and we look forward to seeing all that you accomplish along your journeys of excellence!"

Among the standout achievers were Aastha Mittal and Atharva Goel from PVHS, who clinched the Grand Award and 1st Place in the Senior Division Systems Software category with their project "MedEase - Healthcare Made Easy."

Tejas Dhulipalla and Maatank Parashar, also from PVHS, secured 1st Place in the Senior Division Mathematical Sciences with their project "Deciphering Cardiovascular Dynamics in Hispanic Americans: A Multifaceted Analysis in Arizona Factions through Statistical Regression."

Joel Dieck, a student from PVHS, excelled in the Senior Division Technology Enhances the Arts category with the project "Swiftie Chooser."

Tara Bouchard from MTMS received recognition for her project "A Glimpse into the Future: Heat Detecting Prosthetics," earning 2nd Place in the Junior Division Engineering. Tara's exceptional performance also earned her the title of PVSchools Science and Engineering Fair K-8 Best in Fair Winner.

Ayah Weitz, a student from SSES, demonstrated her talent in the Elementary Division Chemistry category with the project "Prime Slime," securing 2nd place. Ayah had previously been named the PVSchools Science and Engineering Fair Elementary Winner.

Sri Moukthika Malladi, an eighth-grader from MTMS, showcased her skills in the Junior Cellular and Molecular Biology category, earning 3rd place with the project "Genetic Threads: Unraveling Fingerprint Patterns."

The article highlighted that senior division Grand Award winners at the state-level fair are eligible to compete at the prestigious Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (RISEF), providing them with further opportunities to showcase their scientific acumen on an international stage.
