Congresswoman Yassamin Ansari, representing Arizona, recently posted a series of updates on her official social media account regarding community events, federal funding for homelessness initiatives, and a call for disciplinary action against a fellow lawmaker.

On March 12, 2026, Ansari invited the public to an event with the message: “Join us tonight! https://t.co/LH6j7EqeX4”.

Later that evening, she announced securing significant federal support for local efforts addressing homelessness. On March 12, 2026, she wrote: “I’m proud to have secured more than $800,000 in federal funding for @CASS_AZ, which plays a crucial role in combating homelessness in the Phoenix metropolitan area. CASS has helped many in our community get back on their feet. This funding will help them continue to provide https://t.co/HgDWopDsLZ”.

In another post dated March 13, 2026, Ansari addressed concerns about alleged racist remarks by Representative Randy Fine. She stated: “Randy Fine’s vile racism should have already resulted in censure. I’ve asked before and I’m asking again: @SpeakerJohnson, will you reprimand Rep. Fine? Strip him of his committee assignments? Anything? Or does the Republican caucus condone racism? https://t.co/8TWQEbwadA”.

Ansari was elected to Congress after defeating Jeff Zink in the 2024 general election with approximately 71% of the vote compared to Zink’s 27%. This victory established her as a prominent figure within Arizona politics.
