Congresswoman Yassamin Ansari has recently used her social media platform to comment on issues ranging from immigration enforcement to major media mergers and political influence. The posts, made between December 9 and December 10, 2025, address the treatment of U.S. citizens by federal agencies, corporate consolidation in the entertainment industry, and past White House immigration policies.

On December 9, Ansari reported attending a Democratic shadow hearing with members of the Oversight Committee Democrats. She wrote: “I’m at a Democratic shadow hearing with @OversightDems listening to stories of U.S. citizens who were violently detained by @ICEgov. @Sec_Noem and @DHSgov are lying when they say Americans are not being targeted. Tune in.”

Later that day, she addressed developments in the media industry involving Netflix and Warner Bros., as well as Jared Kushner’s reported involvement with Paramount. Ansari stated: “Netflix is trying to buy Warner Bros, and now Jared Kushner is pushing Paramount to outbid. Corruption on top of corruption. Less competition means higher prices for everyone. And we all know the Trump Admin won’t block a deal that lines the pockets of the ultra-rich.”

On December 10, Ansari commented on former Trump administration advisor Stephen Miller’s role in shaping immigration policy: “Stephen Miller built Trump’s racist immigration agenda from the ground up, slamming the door on all refugees except white South Africans, and engineering Trump’s mass-deportation machine. It’s repulsive and dangerous.”

Yassamin Ansari was elected to Congress in 2024 after defeating Jeff Zink with over 70% of the vote.
