Congresswoman Yassamin Ansari has recently shared updates on legislative initiatives and oversight actions via her social media account, including support for a bill to review former President Trump’s cognitive health, transportation safety efforts in Phoenix, and an investigation into Pam Bondi’s involvement in the Epstein Files.

On April 14, 2026, Ansari announced her support for a new congressional proposal: “I’m adding my name to @RepRaskin’s bill that will establish a commission to review Trump’s staggering cognitive decline. For months, I’ve been consistent in calling for the 25th Amendment to be invoked, and will continue to demand the cabinet act to save our country from a” (April 14, 2026).

Later that day, she discussed local transit initiatives: “Great to meet with @valleymetro CEO Jessica Mefford-Miller today. From my time on Phoenix City Council, we partnered on electrification and expanding affordable rides for students. In Congress, I secured $1M for Valley Metro’s Community Safety Project to ensure riders in crisis” (April 14, 2026).

That evening, Ansari addressed developments in an ongoing investigation: “TODAY, Pam Bondi was supposed to testify under oath about her role in the Epstein Files coverup. She refused. If she continues to ignore our bipartisan subpoena, @OversightDems will move forward with contempt proceedings.” (April 14, 2026).

Ansari serves as a member of Congress after defeating Jeff Zink in the 2024 general election by a significant margin of 70.9% to 26.6%.
