Congresswoman Yassamin Ansari addressed several issues in a series of posts on October 7, 2025, including the anniversary of the October 7, 2023, attacks on Israel and claims regarding health care for undocumented immigrants.
In a statement marking the anniversary, Ansari wrote: “My statement marking the anniversary of the October 7, 2023, attacks on Israel.” (October 7, 2025).
(October 7, 2025).
She reiterated this message in English, stating: “When Trump and Republicans claim undocumented immigrants get federal health care, they’re lying. It’s a distraction from the fact that they’re ripping health care away from 17 million Americans — and your premiums are about to double or worse.” (October 7, 2025).
Yassamin Ansari was elected to Congress in 2024 after defeating Jeff Zink in the general election with 70.9% of the vote compared to Zink’s 26.6%.
