Congresswoman Yassamin Ansari has recently used her social media platform to address ongoing concerns about health care and political leadership in Arizona. In a series of posts on October 4, 2025, Ansari highlighted the actions of state senators, criticized the Trump administration, and expressed support for local organizations and leaders.

On October 4, Ansari acknowledged the efforts of two senators by posting: “Thank you @SenMarkKelly & @SenRubenGallego for holding the line on health care in the Senate. Because of your leadership, lives will be saved in Arizona.”

Later that day, she voiced her alignment with local advocacy groups and Democratic leaders. On October 4 at 20:15 UTC, she wrote: “Proud to stand with @LUCHA_AZ, Democratic and labor leaders to call out Trump and Republicans for their reckless shutdown and the health care crisis they created.

300K+ Arizonans could lose coverage. Premiums are doubling. People will die. We won’t back down.”

In another post on October 4 at 22:42 UTC, Ansari criticized former President Donald Trump’s administration: “Another day, another example of the Trump Administration operating vengefully and lawlessly at the expense of working families and their living costs.”

Ansari was elected to Congress in 2024 after defeating Jeff Zink in the general election with a decisive margin—earning approximately 70.9% of the vote compared to Zink’s 26.6%. Her recent statements continue a pattern of public engagement on issues affecting Arizona residents.
