Warren Petersen, a notable figure in political discourse, recently shared his thoughts on several pressing issues through a series of tweets. These posts reflect his views on topics ranging from political victories to water rights negotiations and border security.

On May 22, 2025, Petersen expressed gratitude for the efforts that led to what he described as another victory delivered by President Trump. He stated: “The squeaky wheel got the grease. Grateful for all who pushed this issue. President Trump delivers another win.”

In a subsequent tweet on the same day, Petersen highlighted Arizona’s ongoing negotiations regarding Colorado River water rights with other basin states. Emphasizing the importance of reaching a fair agreement due to Arizona’s significant contributions to national military, technology, and food security, he noted: “Arizona is negotiating Colorado River water rights with the seven basin states. A fair deal is critical, as Arizona provides unique military, tech, and food security to the nation. This is a nonpartisan issue, and our entire federal delegation needs to work together on this.”

Later that day, Petersen reported his visit alongside 11 Attorneys General to assess progress at the Yuma sector of the border. Observing improvements in border security measures and morale among personnel following changes in policy enforcement, he remarked: “Yesterday I joined 11 Attorneys General to check the progress at the Yuma sector of the border. Apprehensions have dropped from 1400 a day to just 4 people per day! Morale is up and border patrol shared how thrilled they are to have the handcuffs removed.”

Petersen serves as an elected official in Arizona.
