The University of Phoenix has announced its participation in the 2025 ASU+GSV Summit, scheduled to take place in San Diego from April 6-9. A prominent event at the summit will be the panel discussion titled “Workforce Reckoning: How the State of Career Optimism is Shaping a New Mandate for Employers,” set for April 8 at 11:10 a.m.
The discussion will examine the importance of empowering the workforce in the era of artificial intelligence, rather than merely employing it. The panel will be moderated by LinkedIn News Editor Andrew Seaman and will include Raghu Krishnaiah, Chief Operating Officer at the University of Phoenix; Eugene So, Managing Director at Jobs for the Future; and Vinit Sukhija, Partner at Learn Capital. They will provide actionable strategies and insights into innovative tools and tactics, including those powered by AI.
The session will also explore findings from the 2025 Career Optimism Index study by the University of Phoenix Career Institute, set to release on April 8. The index offers insights into workforce trends and the relationship between employees and employers.
Following the panel, attendees are invited to “The Optimism Hour: A Toast to Opportunity, Innovation, and the Future of Work” at 2 p.m., featuring cocktails, light bites, and reflections on five years of Career Optimism Index insights.
Additionally, University of Phoenix President Chris Lynne and Provost and Chief Academic Officer John Woods, Ph.D., will share their insights in separate panels. John Woods will participate in “Mind the Gap…Bridging the Education and Employment Gap at Scale” on April 7 at 2:10 p.m., while Chris Lynne will feature in “Future of Online Learning” on April 8 at 10:10 a.m.
