The University of Phoenix announced on May 8 that it will host a free webinar titled “From AI Investment to Impact: Lessons from C-suite Leaders on How to Deliver Value on AI Investment” on May 14. The session will feature workplace strategist Jeanne Meister and Jay Titus, Vice President and General Manager of Workforce Solutions at the University of Phoenix.
The event addresses the challenge many organizations face in turning increased spending on artificial intelligence into measurable business results. According to new research highlighted in the webinar, a gap exists between AI investment and its actual impact due to fragmented ownership across human resources, information technology, and business functions.
Jeanne Meister said, “Over the past several years, we’ve seen organizations move quickly from experimenting with generative AI to making significant investments in it. What this latest research with leaders shows is a turning point: the challenge is no longer adoption—it’s execution. Organizations that succeed will be those that connect AI strategy to how work actually gets done, including how people are trained, supported and measured.”
Jay Titus added, “What we’re hearing from employers is that AI initiatives often stall when they’re not clearly tied to workforce strategy. Leaders are investing in technology, but without a clear line of sight into how these tools can drive business outcomes, and the skills needed to best leverage them, it’s difficult to see measurable results. This conversation is focused on helping leaders be more intentional about connecting learning to performance.”
The discussion builds upon University of Phoenix’s ongoing research into generative artificial intelligence in the workplace as organizations move from early adoption toward achieving measurable impact. The webinar will also highlight practical strategies for aligning workforce decisions with organizational goals and skills development.
The event is open to the public at no cost. The University of Phoenix serves students nationwide through both online delivery and its physical campus in Phoenix; it offers over 100 career-focused programs linked to more than 300 professions and holds accreditation from the Higher Learning Commission according to the official website.
