University of Phoenix has announced its participation in the Becker’s Healthcare 15th Annual Meeting, which will take place from April 28 to May 1, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago, Illinois. The event will host over 3,000 executive-level attendees and spotlight more than 850 speakers, featuring prominent leaders and professionals in healthcare.
Vice President and General Manager for University of Phoenix’s Workforce Solutions Group, Jay Titus, expressed the institution’s enthusiasm about their involvement: “We are honored to be participating in Becker’s Healthcare Annual Meeting,” Titus stated. Insights from the 2025 University of Phoenix Career Optimism Index study reveal that healthcare workers in America remain optimistic about their careers, finding significant meaning in their work, although they continue to face challenges like career control, burnout, and the need for skill development. The study notes that 84% of healthcare workers are looking to enhance their skillsets, with 71% acknowledging a need for improvement to advance their careers.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is highlighted as an influential factor in healthcare careers, with 86% of respondents using AI reporting improved productivity, and 81% noting a better work-life balance. To address these workforce trends, University of Phoenix has reinforced its career-focused resources for adult learners with Adaptable Skills Solutions, a program featuring Skillmore, an AI-powered skills intelligence platform. This initiative aims to bridge skills gaps, improve workforce adaptability, and align talent development with business objectives using AI insights, tailored learning pathways, and measurable results.
