Twenty-five fifth and sixth grade strings students from Paradise Valley Unified School District were selected for the 2026 Arizona All-State Elementary Festival Orchestra, according to an announcement on Apr. 6. The selection highlights the dedication and musical talent of young student-musicians in PVSchools.
The recognition is significant as it reflects both the achievements of the students and the quality of music education in the district. Students earned their place through a teacher nomination process that was described as rigorous.
Paradise Valley Unified School District serves the Paradise Valley area in Arizona, according to the official website. The district operates under a board of school trustees and specializes in public schooling, focusing on engaging and inspiring students through quality instruction and dynamic learning experiences, as noted by its official site. The list of honored string musicians includes students from Desert Trails, Copper Canyon, Grayhawk, Pinnacle Peak, North Ranch, Sonoran Sky, Fireside, Sky Crossing, and Wildfire schools playing instruments such as violin (both Violin 1 and Violin 2), viola, cello, and bass.
