Trey McBride and Budda Baker have been named to the 2025 Pro Bowl, according to the NFL’s announcement of this season’s rosters on Tuesday. McBride, a tight end for the Arizona Cardinals, is close to setting a new NFL record for receptions by a tight end in a single season. He needs eight more catches over the final two games to surpass Zach Ertz’s mark of 116.
McBride has already achieved his second consecutive Pro Bowl selection and has posted back-to-back seasons with at least 100 receptions—making him the first tight end in league history to do so. His recent streak of 16 straight games with at least five receptions, which ended Sunday, also set an NFL record for his position. With two games remaining in the regular season, McBride has recorded 109 catches, 1,098 yards, and 10 touchdowns. The Cardinals’ franchise record for most receptions in a season stands at 115 by wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins.
Safety Budda Baker was also selected for the NFC roster, marking his eighth career Pro Bowl appearance and seventh as a safety. He previously made the team as a rookie special teams player. This year, Baker has contributed half a sack, one interception, five passes defensed, and leads the team with 111 total tackles. He has played in 971 defensive snaps—accounting for 98 percent of all defensive plays by Arizona this season.
Outside linebacker Josh Sweat was named an alternate after tying his career high with 11 sacks.
