On Thursday, May 1, former Xavier College Preparatory standout Izzy Hycnar’s current college team, the Minnesota State Mavericks, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Wayne State Wildcats.
The game took place at Bowden Field. This was their third matchup against the Wildcats this season.
The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 2 at 2:30 p.m. at Bowden Field against Winona State Warriors.
