The Phoenix Symphony announced on May 28 that it is seeking community support to continue its music and outreach programs. The organization is encouraging donations before December 31 in an effort to reach a $250,000 fundraising goal.

According to the announcement, contributions help sustain a variety of initiatives including performances, music education programs, and hospice bedside visits. The symphony said these efforts are designed to inspire the community and provide comfort in challenging times.

Donations made before December 31 are tax-deductible and will have an immediate impact on the organization’s ability to offer music and related services. The symphony highlighted that year-end giving is critical for maintaining its programming throughout the year.

In addition, The Phoenix Symphony informed patrons that its ticketing system will be temporarily unavailable from May 1 at 9:00 PM through May 2 at 6:00 AM due to scheduled maintenance. The organization apologized for any inconvenience this may cause and thanked supporters for their patience.

The symphony continues to encourage public support as it works toward meeting its fundraising target by the end of the year.
