The Phoenix Symphony announced on Apr. 14 that it is encouraging community members to make year-end contributions in support of its musical and educational initiatives. The organization said donations will help them reach a $250,000 goal before midnight on December 31.

Supporters are being asked to consider making tax-deductible gifts, which the symphony says can have an immediate impact on performances, music education programs, and hospice bedside visits that provide comfort through music when words are not enough.

“Your support of The Phoenix Symphony helps ensure music continues to inspire our community — from unforgettable performances and music education programs to compassionate hospice bedside visits that bring comfort when words fall short,” the announcement said.

In addition to the fundraising campaign, The Phoenix Symphony notified patrons that its ticketing system will be temporarily unavailable from May 1 at 9:00 PM through May 2 at 6:00 AM due to scheduled maintenance. The organization apologized for any inconvenience this may cause and thanked supporters for their patience.

Looking ahead, the symphony aims to continue providing a range of musical experiences and outreach efforts with the help of ongoing community contributions.
