82 percent of applicants to Arizona State University-West were admitted for fall 2018

At Arizona State University-West, 76 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 60 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Glendale enrolled 4,445 students in fall 2018, including 4,047 in undergraduate and 398 in graduate programs, data shows. 15.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

76 percent of undergraduates are residents of Arizona, and 20 percent are residents of other states. 4 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (43 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (35 percent).

The school admitted 82 percent of the 2,610 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 31 percent enrolled.
