Sprouts Farmers Market will open a new store in Providence Village, Texas, on Friday, September 12. The store is located at 800 Main Street. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 6:45 a.m., and the store will open to customers at 7 a.m.

Mayor Linda Inman of Providence Village welcomed the company’s arrival, stating, “Sprouts Farmers Market will be a wonderful addition to our community, and we look forward to welcoming them to Providence Village. Their new location at Providence Village will provide fresh, healthy food options, create local jobs, and offer a welcoming place for neighbors to gather and shop. Sprouts’ commitment to supporting communities aligns perfectly with the spirit and character of Providence Village and its residents.”

The grand opening weekend will feature several events from Friday through Sunday. Activities include a “pop-up party” where guests can sample seasonal produce from a tasting bar and participate in contests such as guessing the weight of an oversized piece of produce. The first 200 shoppers on both Friday and Saturday will receive free reusable goodie bags filled with products and samples. Additionally, the first 400 guests on Friday will get a free long stem rose provided by Falcon Farms Floral.

Inside the store, customers can try products from various brands at Vendor Village. Giveaways and music are planned throughout the weekend.

Shoppers who sign up for a Sprouts Rewards Account can receive 20% off their purchase during the grand opening weekend. Customers can join by visiting https://www.sprouts.com/rewards/, entering their phone number or scanning their barcode in-store or using promo code VILLGO20 online.

Sprouts Farmers Market partners with local Texas farms such as Chip Berry Produce, Dixondale Farms, Fredericksburg Peach Company, J&B Farms, among others, to supply local produce. The company’s Food Rescue program ensures that groceries no longer fit for sale but still edible are donated to Tarrant Area Food Bank.

The new location’s hours are daily from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. More information is available at https://www.sprouts.com/providencevillage.
