Sprouts Farmers Market will open a new store in Knoxville, Tennessee, on August 29 at 9622 Kingston Pike. The company announced that a ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for Friday morning at 6:45 a.m., with the store opening to customers at 7 a.m.
The grand opening weekend, running from August 29 through August 31, will feature several activities. Guests can participate in events such as tasting seasonal produce at a tasting bar and joining a “guess the weight” contest involving an oversized piece of produce. Additional family-friendly activities are planned throughout the weekend.
The first 200 shoppers on both Friday and Saturday will receive complimentary reusable goodie bags containing special products and samples. On Friday, the first 400 guests will also receive a free long-stem rose provided by Falcon Farms Floral. Inside the store, customers can sample products from various brands featured in Vendor Village. Giveaways and music are also planned for attendees.
Shoppers who sign up for a Sprouts Rewards Account during the grand opening weekend can receive a 20% discount on their purchase.
