Senator Mark Finchem, a Republican representing Arizona’s 1st Senate District since 2025, has posted several statements on social media addressing political and electoral issues.

On September 21, 2025, Finchem referenced support he received in the past from conservative commentator Charlie Kirk. He wrote: “Blessed by @charliekirk11 in 2020 in an attempt to arrest Marxism.”

Later that day, Finchem questioned transparency practices in Washington state elections. In a post dated September 21, 2025, he stated: “What is the WA Election Chief hiding? The voter rolls are public records!”

On September 23, 2025, Finchem commented on international migration and the role of the United Nations. He quoted retired Lieutenant General Michael Flynn and wrote: “Here’s why they hate him, he’s holding people accountable. ‘The United Nations is funding an assault on Western countries and their borders… The UN is supposed to stop invasions, not create them, and not finance them.’ @GenFlynn”

Finchem was elected to his current position in 2025 after replacing former state senator Ken Bennett as representative for Arizona’s 1st Senate District.
