Senator Mark Finchem, a Republican representing Arizona’s 1st Senate District since 2025, has recently posted a series of tweets addressing election integrity, digital currency standards, and federal investigations.

On January 6, 2026, Finchem raised concerns about ballot processing during elections. He wrote: “We knew something was very wrong when we were told the ballots were scanned off-site before they we submitted for tabulation by election officials. In the fullness of time, now we know why. They had to know the number needed to achieve the result they wanted.”

Two days later, on January 8, 2026, Finchem discussed issues related to legal tender and cryptocurrency valuation: “Legal tender has a “standard” that we need to talk about, the time has come if a digital gold standard benchmark to gain an appreciation for the value of the cryptocurrency you hold. @Justin_F_Wood @digitalGoldtalk @Luckygroundrock”

Later that same day, he commented on developments in a federal investigation involving New York Attorney General Letitia James. Citing The Associated Press as his source, Finchem stated: “We can thank Thune and his cast of Senate clowns for this ! Finchem succeeded Ken Bennett as state senator after winning election in 2025.
