Senator Mark Finchem, a Republican representing Arizona’s 1st Senate District, posted a series of tweets on September 27, 2025, making allegations about treason and sedition.

In one tweet from the evening of September 27, Finchem wrote: “He’s terrified because he knows the depths of his treason, and those around him do too. their pants. They actually thought they would get away with the coup.”

Shortly afterward, Finchem questioned actions he described as sedition and treason in another post: “Excuse me, isn’t this sedition and treason; calling for war on your own soil against the people who have funded everything you have?” This tweet was published at 22:44 UTC.

A few minutes later, he commented further with: “Remove her facemask so the can take in the substance she’s throwing at you.” This tweet was posted at 22:47 UTC.

Finchem began serving as state senator for Arizona’s 1st District in 2025 after replacing Ken Bennett. He has been known for his outspoken views and frequent use of social media to address political issues.
