Senator Mark Finchem, a Republican representing Arizona’s 1st Senate District since 2025, recently addressed issues related to state land ownership, election integrity, and online child trafficking in a series of posts on his social media account.
On January 9, 2026, Finchem stated: “Arizona land should belong to Americans, not foreign adversaries, and SB-1075 protects our state from outside control.”
Shortly after, he raised concerns about election procedures: “When a whistleblower alleges 300,000 ballots were handled outside the chain of custody, serious election-integrity questions demand answers.” This comment reflects ongoing debates in Arizona regarding the transparency and security of elections.
In another post on the same day, Finchem commented on proposed legislation targeting technology companies: “SB-1077 puts tech giants on notice: if you enable child trafficking online, there will be consequences – no more free passes.”
Finchem was elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2025 following his predecessor Ken Bennett. He has since used his platform to advocate for legislative measures addressing land ownership by foreign entities and accountability for both election processes and technology firms.
