Republic Services, Inc. has been recognized by Fortune as one of the World’s Most Admired Companies for the fifth time. The company received high marks in areas such as social responsibility, innovation, quality of management, financial soundness, and long-term investment value.

Jon Vander Ark, president and chief executive officer of Republic Services, commented on the achievement: “This recognition reflects the commitment of our 42,000 employees to delivering results the right way. Every day, our team puts our values into action by delivering world-class essential services to our customers, helping to create a more sustainable world.”

The 2026 World’s Most Admired Companies list is compiled from a comprehensive survey that evaluates around 1,500 companies across nine criteria related to corporate reputation. These include investment value, management and product quality, social responsibility, and talent attraction. The rankings are based on feedback from industry executives, directors, and analysts collected by Korn Ferry for Fortune. More information about the list can be found at Fortune.com.

In addition to this recognition from Fortune, Republic Services was also named one of Ethisphere’s World’s Most Ethical Companies for the seventh time in the past year and has been certified as a Great Place to Work for nine consecutive years.
