The Pinnacle High School DECA chapter qualified 21 students for the International Career Development Conference following a strong showing at the Arizona State DECA competition, according to an April 3 announcement. The chapter competed in more than 25 disciplines, with five first-place winners and eight double qualifiers among its participants.
The school also received the Diamond Level Chapter Award, which recognizes excellence in membership, innovation, advocacy, and community service. Two members of Pinnacle’s Student Store team secured spots at the international level as well. More than 2,400 students participated in AZDECA this year.
These achievements highlight how programs like DECA contribute to student growth and provide professional opportunities. “The skills, connections, and real-world experiences students gain through these programs are invaluable assets for their future careers,” said school officials.
