Pinnacle High School Assistant Principal Patrick Hurley has been recognized by the Arizona Association of Student Councils as Student Council Administrator of the Year. The award highlights his support and dedication to student leadership at Pinnacle High School, which is part of the Paradise Valley Unified School District.
Hurley’s efforts have helped empower the school’s student government (STUGO) to develop leadership skills and take initiative. He is credited with creating an environment where students are encouraged to share ideas and participate in campus life. His approach focuses on collaboration, respect, and engagement, contributing to a positive culture at the school.
The Arizona Association of Student Councils honored Hurley during its annual awards celebration last week. In response to receiving the award, Hurley said, “This honor means so much to me because it reflects the incredible passion, leadership, and dedication of our student government and their amazing advisor, Kristi Sage. I’m proud to share this recognition with all the teachers, staff, and administrators at Pinnacle, whose daily commitment to students is the true foundation behind this award.”
