The Phoenix Symphony announced on May 26 that it is seeking community support to help reach its $250,000 year-end fundraising goal before midnight on December 31. The organization said contributions will help ensure music continues to inspire the local community through performances, music education programs, and hospice bedside visits.
According to The Phoenix Symphony, donations are tax-deductible and can have an immediate impact on the programs supporters care about most. The group encouraged donors to give before December 31 for their gifts to count toward this year’s goal.
In addition, The Phoenix Symphony informed patrons that its ticketing system will be temporarily unavailable from May 1 at 9:00 p.m. through May 2 at 6:00 a.m. due to scheduled maintenance. The organization apologized for any inconvenience and thanked supporters for their patience during this period.
The Phoenix Symphony provides a range of musical experiences in the region, including performances and educational outreach. Its efforts also extend into compassionate initiatives such as providing comfort through music in hospice settings when words may not suffice.
The symphony emphasized the importance of donor contributions in sustaining these offerings and reaching its financial objectives by year-end.
