Community art has returned to the Family Concerts presented by The Phoenix Symphony. At each concert, a canvas is displayed that draws inspiration from the music and themes of the performance. Audience members are invited to contribute their own creative input before the concert begins, resulting in artwork that reflects the collective experience.

By the end of the season, all four canvases will be combined into a quadriptych, forming a single four-panel piece that represents the journey of this year’s Family Concert series. Two panels have already been completed with influences from Harry Potter and Pictures at an Exhibition. The remaining two panels will be created during concerts featuring Peter and the Wolf and Northern Lights Adventure.

The Phoenix Symphony encourages attendees to arrive early, meet student artists involved in the project, and participate in creating upcoming panels for this collaborative effort.

In addition to these community activities, The Phoenix Symphony continues its work through performances, educational initiatives, and hospice bedside visits aimed at bringing comfort through music. The organization is seeking support to reach a $250,000 fundraising goal by December 31. Contributions made before this date are tax-deductible and will directly support ongoing programs.

A temporary disruption to ticketing services is scheduled from May 1 at 9:00 PM until May 2 at 6:00 AM as system maintenance takes place. The Phoenix Symphony has apologized for any inconvenience caused by this downtime.
