The Phoenix Symphony announced on May 26 that it is seeking community support through year-end donations to help reach a $250,000 fundraising goal before midnight on December 31. The organization said contributions are tax-deductible and can have an immediate impact on its performances, education programs, and hospice bedside visits.
In a statement, the Symphony said, “Your support of The Phoenix Symphony helps ensure music continues to inspire our community — from unforgettable performances and music education programs to compassionate hospice bedside visits that bring comfort when words fall short.”
The announcement encourages donors to make their gifts before December 31 for them to count toward this year’s campaign. “Give before December 31 to make your impact count,” the statement said.
Additionally, the Symphony notified patrons that its ticketing system will be down from May 1 at 9:00 PM through May 2 at 6:00 AM next year. “We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience,” the organization said.
The Phoenix Symphony’s appeal highlights its ongoing efforts to maintain programming and outreach in the community.
