The Phoenix Symphony announced on May 26 that it is encouraging community members to make a year-end gift to help reach its $250,000 fundraising goal before midnight on December 31. The organization said that contributions are tax-deductible and will have an immediate impact on the music and programs supported by the symphony.

According to the announcement, support for The Phoenix Symphony helps ensure music continues to inspire the community through performances, education programs, and hospice bedside visits. “Your support of The Phoenix Symphony helps ensure music continues to inspire our community — from unforgettable performances and music education programs to compassionate hospice bedside visits that bring comfort when words fall short,” the statement said.

The symphony emphasized that donations received before December 31 would count toward this year’s impact. “Give before December 31 to make your impact count,” the organization said.

In addition, The Phoenix Symphony informed patrons that its ticketing system would be temporarily unavailable from May 1 at 9:00 PM through May 2 at 6:00 AM due to scheduled maintenance. “We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience,” the statement read.

The announcement did not specify additional details about upcoming events or further plans related to fundraising efforts.
