The Phoenix Symphony announced on May 28 that it is seeking community support to continue its music programs, including performances, education initiatives, and hospice visits. The organization highlighted the importance of donations in ensuring that music remains accessible and impactful throughout the community.

The Symphony encouraged supporters to make year-end gifts to help reach a $250,000 fundraising goal before midnight on December 31. Contributions are tax-deductible and are intended to provide immediate benefits for the Symphony’s programs. “Your support of The Phoenix Symphony helps ensure music continues to inspire our community — from unforgettable performances and music education programs to compassionate hospice bedside visits that bring comfort when words fall short,” the announcement said.

Donors were reminded that giving before December 31 would maximize their impact for the current year. The organization emphasized how contributions directly affect the continuation of its musical offerings and outreach efforts.

Additionally, The Phoenix Symphony informed patrons about a temporary ticketing system outage scheduled from May 1 at 9:00 PM through May 2 at 6:00 AM in 2025. The announcement apologized for any inconvenience caused by this disruption and thanked supporters for their patience during this period.

The call for donations reflects ongoing efforts by arts organizations to secure funding necessary for operations and programming.
