The Phoenix Symphony announced on March 23 that it is seeking to raise $250,000 through a year-end fundraising campaign, with donations accepted until midnight on December 31. The organization said contributions will support its performances, music education programs, and hospice bedside visits.
The symphony highlighted the importance of community support to sustain its musical initiatives and outreach efforts. The funds raised are intended to help continue providing experiences that inspire audiences and bring comfort in challenging times.
“Your support of The Phoenix Symphony helps ensure music continues to inspire our community — from unforgettable performances and music education programs to compassionate hospice bedside visits that bring comfort when words fall short,” the organization said in a statement. It added, “Make your year-end gift today and help us reach our $250,000 goal before midnight on December 31. Your contribution is be tax-deductible and can have an immediate impact on the music and programs you care about most.”
In addition to the fundraising announcement, The Phoenix Symphony informed patrons that its ticketing system will be temporarily unavailable from May 1 at 9:00 PM through May 2 at 6:00 AM due to scheduled maintenance. “We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience,” the statement read.
As the end-of-year deadline approaches for charitable giving, supporters are encouraged by the symphony to contribute before December 31 so their gifts can have maximum impact.
