Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport has provided updates on ongoing construction, new amenities, and employment opportunities through recent social media posts. The airport highlighted continued work on its Terminal 3 north concourse, the introduction of a free library for travelers, and details about a job fair.

On April 6, 2026, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport posted: “As progress continues on the Terminal 3 north concourse project, which is 20% complete, overnight lane restrictions are in place indefinitely on eastbound or westbound Sky Harbor Blvd. near Terminal 3. Roadway & terminal access are maintained at all times.” This update informs travelers of possible delays due to construction but assures that access remains available.

Later the same day, the airport marked National Library Day by announcing a new resource for passengers: “#NationalLibraryDay is a day to appreciate the library spaces and staff around us. Last month, #PHX opened the PHX Free Little Library for readers of all ages to enjoy. Find it in Terminal 3 next to our Culture Corner near gate F4. More at: https://t.co/MZoQUjzk3m “

On April 7, 2026, another post invited job seekers to attend an employment event: “Come land a job at Phoenix Sky Harbor at today’s monthly job fair! The event is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the 44th Street PHX Sky Train Station. The station is located on 44th and Washington streets, easily accessible by bus and Valley Metro Rail with parking also available!”

Phoenix Sky Harbor’s Terminal 3 has been a focal point for both development and services in recent years. In August 2022, Breeze Airways began offering flights from Terminal 3 to Charleston, South Carolina and Provo, Utah twice weekly (source). Leadership changes have also taken place within the City of Phoenix Aviation Department; Roxann Favors was appointed Assistant Director/Chief Revenue Officer in August 2022 (source), while Jay DeWitt was named Assistant Director/Chief Development Officer during the same period (source). These developments reflect ongoing efforts to enhance both infrastructure and passenger experience at one of Arizona’s busiest airports.
