Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport posted a series of updates on March 30, 2026, addressing upcoming events, airport amenities, and service milestones.

In a message to travelers attending the NCAA Women’s Final Four in Phoenix, the airport stated on March 30: “Calling all 2026 NCAA Women’s Final Four fans headed to PHX! Be sure to check out our recommended airport travel tips before you fly: https://t.co/md8V1tKUlW @AZSportAlliance @WFinalFour #WFinalFour https://t.co/4JahOGuU99”.

Later that day, Phoenix Sky Harbor highlighted its art installations for travelers. On March 30 at 19:06 UTC, the airport posted: “It’s Museum Monday! Enjoy six sculptures inspired by nature, travel and creativity in a desert garden setting. Soak up some sunshine before or after your flight and discover artworks by local artists. The Sculpture Garden is located in Terminal 3, level 1 on the east end! https://t.co/bJFjnWlTzi”.

Celebrating an operational milestone, the airport marked one year since Aeromexico began nonstop service from Phoenix to Mexico City. The March 30 post reads: “Last year, we celebrated the start of @Aeromexico’s nonstop service to Mexico City (MEX) from #PHX! Today, we’re celebrating the one-year anniversary Where’s your next vacation? Maybe Mexico City! https://t.co/iMNm2tNWE1”.

Phoenix Sky Harbor has expanded its services and management team in recent years. In August 2022, Breeze Airways announced new routes connecting Phoenix with Charleston and Provo through Terminal 3, operating twice weekly (source). Around the same time, Roxann Favors was named Assistant Director and Chief Revenue Officer for the City of Phoenix Aviation Department (source), while Jay DeWitt was appointed Assistant Director and Chief Development Officer responsible for planning and financial management divisions (source).
