Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport has announced several updates and events through its official social media channels, including a volunteer milestone, the release of a commemorative trading card, and operational alerts due to weather.

On August 22, 2025, the airport posted about the long-standing commitment of one of its volunteers: “For the Navigator Program’s 25th Anniversary, we’re highlighting our volunteers. Toshiko has volunteered more than 3,000 hours since 2010. She also works as a dance fitness instructor and loves baseball and hockey! The Navigator Program has been an integral part of Phoenix Sky Harbor for a quarter-century, providing assistance to travelers through dedicated volunteers like Toshiko.

In another update shared on August 25, 2025, Phoenix Sky Harbor marked its nine decades of operation with a special giveaway: “We’re offering a special collectible trading card to commemorate our 90th anniversary. Cards are free at PHX information counters while supplies last. Get yours today! Details: https://t.co/e09a7pzq1W https://t.co/h18gp1ftui”.

The airport also issued an advisory on August 26, 2025 regarding weather-related disruptions: “Due to the storm this evening, there are delays. If you have a flight tonight or are picking up passengers, please check the flight status with your airline before coming to the airport.”

Phoenix Sky Harbor continues to expand its services and leadership team.
