On May 26, 2026, the airport recognized one of its staff members as part of a reading initiative: “It’s #GetCaughtReadingMonth! We’re featuring Carl C., Aviation Program Manager who leads the PHX Rental Car Center, and is author of the Tommy’s Airport Adventure series. These updates follow other recent developments at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. In August 2022, Breeze Airways began offering flights from Phoenix to Charleston and Provo through Terminal 3 (source). The City of Phoenix also appointed Roxann Favors as Assistant Director and Chief Revenue Officer for its Aviation Department in September 2022 (source).
