Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport recently highlighted several new developments and achievements through its official Twitter account, including a local entrepreneurial success story, a new art exhibition, and recognition in national awards.

On September 11, 2025, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport shared news about a locally created product now available at the airport: “From eye exams to energy boosts Two Arizona optometrists turned entrepreneurs created @drinkonthesly, now featured in Terminal 4, post-security at O.H.S.O. Brewery, Tripadvisor, CNBC 12 News, and Today. A local success story you can experience while traveling. https://t.co/BmNor9l6KC”.

The following day, on September 12, 2025, the airport promoted an art exhibition featuring local talent: “Desert meets development in the Phoenix Airport Museum’s new “Rooted & Rising” art exhibition featuring 20 local artists. Phoenix Sky Harbor has seen recent growth and leadership changes. In August 2022, Breeze Airways began offering flights from Phoenix to Charleston and Provo twice weekly from Terminal 3 (source). That same month, Roxann Favors was named Assistant Director and Chief Revenue Officer for the City of Phoenix Aviation Department (source), bringing nearly two decades of management experience to her role. Additionally, Jay DeWitt was appointed Assistant Director and Chief Development Officer for the department (source), overseeing planning and financial management divisions.

These updates reflect ongoing efforts by Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport to highlight local initiatives and enhance traveler experiences as it continues to expand services and leadership capacity.
