Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport has highlighted several recent developments and ongoing initiatives through its official social media posts, including the opening of a new art exhibition, a milestone for its Navigator volunteer program, and travel tips for passengers.

On December 5, 2025, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport announced the launch of a new art exhibition at its museum. According to the airport’s post, “Now open at the Phoenix Airport Museum: Spectral Alchemy, an exhibition featuring local artists and their take on mystical and celestial light. Visit Terminal 4, level 3 gallery.” The exhibition is located in Terminal 4 on level 3.

Three days later, on December 8, 2025, the airport celebrated a significant anniversary for its Navigator volunteer program. In a tweet marking this occasion, the airport stated: “Phoenix Sky Harbor is celebrating 25 years of the Navigator volunteer program this year. Betty Rose joined in 2001 and reached her 24-year milestone last month, volunteering more than 9,800 hours helping travelers. Learn more: https://t.co/saTqxAteQl https://t.co/Dq6SveS0mH”

Later that same day, Phoenix Sky Harbor shared information aimed at improving passenger experience during customs processing. The post read: “Skip long customs lines at PHX with the free Mobile Passport Control app. Submit your passport and customs information from your smartphone. Groups up to 12 can use it together, making travel easier for families and friends. Learn more: https://t.co/rf1XnpDjMm https://t.co/IMBD3tNV11”

These updates come as Phoenix Sky Harbor continues to expand its services and leadership team. In August 2022, Breeze Airways began operating flights from Phoenix to Charleston and Provo twice weekly out of Terminal 3 (source). That same month saw key appointments within the City of Phoenix Aviation Department: Roxann Favors was named Assistant Director/Chief Revenue Officer (source), bringing nearly two decades of management experience; Jay DeWitt was appointed Assistant Director/Chief Development Officer (source), overseeing several divisions including Planning and Environmental as well as Design and Construction Services.

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport remains one of Arizona’s primary transportation hubs while also supporting community engagement through programs like Navigator volunteers and public exhibitions.
