On October 16, 2025, the airport highlighted its quiet spaces for travelers. In a tweet posted at 16:16 UTC, Phoenix Sky Harbor stated: “Need a quiet space at PHX? Later that day, at 18:31 UTC, the airport advised travelers about increased passenger traffic due to fall break in local schools. The post read: “It’s still fall break for some Valley students, so please expect us to be busy. Arrive 2-3 hours early. Pick up & drop off passengers at the PHX Sky Train to avoid roadway congestion. Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport continues to expand its services and leadership team. In August 2022, Breeze Airways began offering flights from Phoenix to Charleston and Provo twice weekly from Terminal 3 (source). That same month, Roxann Favors was appointed as Assistant Director and Chief Revenue Officer of the City of Phoenix Aviation Department after nearly two decades in city management (source). Additionally, Jay DeWitt was named Assistant Director and Chief Development Officer for the department overseeing key divisions such as Planning and Environmental and Design and Construction Services (source).
