On December 30, 2025, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport posted about its upcoming employment event: “The 1st monthly Airport Job Fair of 2026 is one week away – a chance to meet with PHX-based businesses. Around 600 people were hired on the spot at 2025 Job Fairs! The next one is 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, 44th Street PHX Sky Train Station. Later that day, the airport provided information regarding an upcoming environmental review by federal authorities: “The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will be preparing an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Phoenix Area FAA Modernization Project to determine potential environmental impacts. On December 31, the airport shared a message reflecting on the past year: “That’s a wrap! In recent years, Phoenix Sky Harbor has seen notable developments such as Breeze Airways launching new services from Terminal 3 in November 2022 with flights to Charleston and Provo operating twice weekly (source).
