Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport has announced several updates as 2025 comes to a close, including details on upcoming job fairs, environmental assessments, and a year-end message highlighting key milestones.

On December 30, 2025, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport posted about its upcoming employment event: “The 1st monthly Airport Job Fair of 2026 is one week away – a chance to meet with PHX-based businesses. Around 600 people were hired on the spot at 2025 Job Fairs! The next one is 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, 44th Street PHX Sky Train Station. Later that day, the airport provided information regarding an upcoming environmental review by federal authorities: “The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will be preparing an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Phoenix Area FAA Modernization Project to determine potential environmental impacts. More information: https://t.co/6sPoPTljgN https://t.co/E86u4CwYNn” (December 30, 2025).

On December 31, the airport shared a message reflecting on the past year: “That’s a wrap! Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport has had 365 days full of celebrations with anniversaries, grand openings, and inaugural events. In recent years, Phoenix Sky Harbor has seen notable developments such as Breeze Airways launching new services from Terminal 3 in November 2022 with flights to Charleston and Provo operating twice weekly (source).
