Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport has announced its 2026 schedule of arts and culture programming, continuing efforts to engage travelers with local culture. The airport’s Culture Corner and Traveling Tunes programs will return with new lineups.
The Culture Corner, launched in 2025 for the airport’s 90th anniversary, is located post-security in Terminal 3. It offers monthly events that showcase Arizona’s diversity and heritage. Community organizations, performers, and educators present a variety of activities to travelers. In 2025, groups such as the Phoenix Sister Cities Taipei Committee, MIM, Phoenix Zoo, Arizona Heritage Foundation, and S’edav Va’aki Museum participated.
“Our goal is to elevate the passenger experience,” said Aviation Director Chad Makovsky. “Family-friendly programs like the Culture Corner, Traveling Tunes, and our airport art program, give us an opportunity to create memorable moments for travelers and employees alike.”
For 2026, the Culture Corner will feature partners including Ballet Arizona, Great Arizona Puppet Theatre, Phoenix Public Library, Heard Museum, Phoenix Zoo, and Valle Del Sol Folklórico Club. Monthly events will cover dance, storytelling, science demonstrations, history presentations, and hands-on cultural activities.
Traveling Tunes will continue live music performances four times per month—twice each in Terminals 3 and 4. Musical genres range from Easy Listening to R&B/Soul and Country. Artists scheduled include Juan Felix, Ellis Green, Clydene Balke, Gal Drimmer, Timothy O’Brien among others.
The Airport Museum Program also continues to highlight Arizona artists through exhibitions across both terminals and at the Rental Car Center. A current exhibit titled Spectral Alchemy features works by 15 local artists using neon, spray paint or digital media to explore light as a theme. In April 2026 a new exhibition called Sounds Like Arizona will open with displays on notable musicians from the state.
“Phoenix Sky Harbor’s Airport Museum brings our region’s art and heritage to life with distinctive, one‑of‑a‑kind exhibitions,” said Airport Museum Manager Haley Hinds.
