Phoenix recognizes outstanding youth leaders with annual awards

The City of Phoenix has acknowledged three high school students as district winners of the 2025 Outstanding Phoenix Youth Leader of the Year award. The honorees are Jan Dwayne Cacnio and Shubham Kale from Paradise Valley High School, along with Rushel Patankar from Pinnacle High School. This program aims to celebrate and honor exceptional youth within the community.

The recognized students were honored at a luncheon where they received certificates and cash prizes. Additionally, these honorees will have opportunities to participate in citywide programs and make special appearances to promote youth issues.

“The Outstanding Phoenix Youth Leader of the Year program, organized by the City of Phoenix, aims to recognize and honor young people for their exceptional achievements,” stated a representative. “The program also aims to improve the perception of youth and raise community awareness of their positive contributions.”
