Phoenix Art Museum has announced its annual fundraising gala, The pARTy in the Garden, will be held on April 10, 2026. The event is scheduled from 6 to 9 pm in the Museum’s Dorrance Sculpture Garden and will be followed by The afterpARTy from 9 pm to midnight. This year’s gala will celebrate the opening of “Florentine Baroque: The Haukohl Collection,” which is described as the first exhibition of its kind in Arizona, featuring works from the largest collection of Florentine Baroque art outside Italy.
The fundraiser is chaired by Catherine and Jim Tuton and Matthew Boland and Chris Greulich. It supports Phoenix Art Museum’s exhibitions and education programs. Each year, more than 400 community leaders, philanthropists, and arts advocates attend the event to support the museum and regional arts initiatives. Attendees will have access to an exclusive viewing of the featured exhibition, a cocktail hour, dinner, dessert, and dancing at The afterpARTy.
This year’s event will honor Mike and Lee Cohn for their longstanding support of Phoenix Art Museum. Mike Cohn is recognized as founder and area president of Cohn Financial Group and has served on the museum’s Board of Trustees. Together with Lee Cohn—an entrepreneur with experience in hospitality—the couple established the Sette/Cohn Artist Award, a five-year initiative supporting arts engagement through the Arizona Artist Awards program.
Jeremy Mikolajczak, Sybil Harrington Director and CEO of Phoenix Art Museum, stated: “The pARTy and The afterpARTy are among our most anticipated annual celebrations that provide vital support for the exhibitions and programs that make PhxArt a cultural anchor in our community. This year’s gala celebrates a milestone moment in the Museum’s history, an exhibition that brings iconic artworks from across the centuries to our community. We look forward to welcoming guests for an evening that makes world-class exhibitions like Florentine Baroque possible, while strengthening our mission to inspire and engage audiences across the Valley.”
Following The pARTy in the Garden, guests can attend The afterpARTy with access to select exhibitions, custom cocktails at a hosted bar, live music, entertainment, dancing, snacks, desserts, and more. Proceeds help fund free-access days at Phoenix Art Museum; it offers an average of 30 hours per month of free admission—valued at over $1 million annually—for visitors of all ages.
Tickets for The afterpARTy are available for $165 each or two for $300 for non-members; members pay $125 each; Arizona Costume Institute and Men’s Arts Council members pay $100 each. Tickets for The pARTy start at $1,500 per person with table sponsorships ranging from $15,000 to $50,000.
