Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell has announced the indictment of Jami Trautman for alleged involvement in crimes against a child. Trautman is accused of recording herself bathing with a child she knew and sending these recordings through social media to an individual imprisoned in California.

Trautman faces charges including one count of sexual abuse, classified as a dangerous crime against children and considered a Class Three Felony. Additionally, she is charged with two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, also deemed dangerous crimes against children and categorized as Class Two Felonies.

Currently held on a $250,000 cash-only bond, Trautman’s trial is set for August 2025. It is important to note that “a criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.”
