Parents and guardians in the Paradise Valley Unified School District will soon have access to ParentSquare, a new communication platform designed to streamline updates from schools and classrooms. The district announced that starting January 20, all K-12 parents will be able to use ParentSquare to receive information about events, schedule changes, and classroom news on their phones or computers through a free account.

According to the district, activation emails will be sent out to those who have not yet set up their PVSchools account. As teachers and staff begin using ParentSquare, families may start seeing messages and posts through the system. However, not every classroom is expected to transition at the same time.

The platform allows users to choose how and when they receive messages, reply directly to staff communications, view calendars and sign-ups, and access these features in their preferred language. Parents are encouraged to download the free ParentSquare app for iOS or Android devices.

To activate an account without waiting for an email invitation, parents can visit www.parentsquare.com/signin and register with the email address provided to their school. The district clarified that activation is not required for receiving important updates or emergency notifications.

For more information about how ParentSquare works within Paradise Valley Unified School District, families can visit www.pvschools.net/families/parentsquare.

“District messages, including the district newsletter, will be sent through ParentSquare starting next week. PVSchools looks forward to providing you with the latest information and news taking place in Paradise!”
