Paradise Valley Unified School District will hold its annual event, Sights & Sounds, STEAMposium, and Gifted Showcase, on Friday, March 7. The event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Shadow Mountain High School.
The event highlights student work across all grade levels and disciplines in the district. Attendees can participate in the STEAMposium, which includes hands-on projects related to science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. This year’s program will also introduce a K–6 Gifted Showcase that features advanced academic projects and talents of gifted students.
A visual arts showcase for grades K–12 will display artwork from students throughout the district. The event will offer activities suitable for all ages and food trucks on campus.
Live performances by band, strings, and chorus students are planned during the day as part of the “sounds” aspect of the celebration.
“Sights & Sounds, STEAMposium, and Gifted Showcase is a celebration of student achievement, creativity, and the many ways PVSchools learners shine. Families, friends, and community members are encouraged to attend and experience the best of PVSchools all in one place.”
