  • U.S. Rep. Greg Stanton (D-Mesa)

    Throughout his career, Greg Stanton has worked tirelessly to deliver results for Arizona families. Serving as Phoenix mayor from 2012 to 2018, he focused on building an economy rooted in innovation and trade. Under his leadership, Phoenix created thousands of quality jobs and recently saw the highest wage growth in the nation.

    Greg has earned a reputation for working across the aisle to get things done. His biggest accomplishments in Phoenix were passed with bipartisan support: the City’s investment in the biosciences and higher education, support for small businesses, and national recognition for leadership on LGBT equality. In 2015, Stanton won reelection and successfully led one of the most ambitious transportation initiatives in the country—a bipartisan, voter-backed plan to extend Phoenix’s light rail system, expand bus service, and improve thousands of miles of roadways over the next 35 years.

    During his time in Congress, Stanton has focused on planning for the state’s water future, investing in public transportation and infrastructure, building Arizona’s economy of the future and lowering costs for working families.

    Stanton is a member of the Transportation & Infrastructure Committee and the Foreign Affairs Committee.

    Before his election as mayor, Greg served nine years on the Phoenix City Council and as Arizona’s Deputy Attorney General. He attended Marquette University on the Harry S. Truman Scholarship, and earned a law degree from the University of Michigan.

    Greg and his wife Nicole have two children.

  • U.S. Rep. David Schweikert (R-Scottsdale)

    David Schweikert is serving his sixth term in the United States Congress. He holds a seat on the Ways and Means Committee, having previously served on the Financial Services Committee. He also sits on the bicameral Joint Economic Committee, serving as the Senior House Republican Member, Co-Chairs the Valley Fever Task force with House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, is the Republican Co-Chair of the Blockchain Caucus, Co-Chair of the Tunisia Caucus, and Co-Chair of the Tele Health Caucus.

    Among his legislative accomplishments, David was instrumental in authoring and passing H.R. 1. the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which reformed an outdated tax code resulting in incredible economic growth, millions of jobs being created, 50-year record low unemployment, and increased revenues. David also played a key role in advancing the United States, Mexico, Canada Agreement (USMCA) as a Member of the Ways and Means Trade Subcommittee and USMCA Whip Team, working across the aisle to garner support. This 21st Century trade deal supports over 228,000 jobs, improves Arizona’s cross-border trade relationships, and updates our intellectual property laws.

    During the 115th and 116th Congress, David helped advance several healthcare proposals designed to give patients the choice, affordability, and quality they deserve. His work as co-chair of the Telehealth Caucus proved pivotal in passing flexibilities during the COVID-19 pandemic. He is also an advocate of H.R. 19, the Lower Costs, More Cures Act, legislation compromised of bipartisan solutions designed to lower out of pocked spending, encourage innovation, improve transparency, and foster competition. David continues to advocate for permanently removing barriers to telehealth, developing a Federal Invisible Risk Sharing Program, and providing patients with the most affordable care. David has always been a leader in the financial services space, previously serving on the House Financial Services Committee. During the 117th Congress, David re-introduced The Fair Investment Opportunities for Professional Experts Act, legislation he wrote to expand the definition of an “accredited investor” allowing for a larger number of individual investors to enter the market place and be considered for growth opportunities. In August 2020, the Securities and Exchange Commission voted to modernize the definition of an accredited investor, incorporating many of the change’s from David’s legislation.

    A national leader on tribal policy, David draws on a unique background working with Arizona’s tribal communities on important priorities.

    As a strong advocate for efficiencies in the 21st Century economy, David collaborates with entrepreneurs and innovators in Arizona and around the world on ways to increase trade and drive economic growth. David has long championed technological innovations as the solution to the problems of over-burdensome government regulations.

    David holds a seat on the Tax and Health Policy Subcommittees on the House Ways and Means Committee, where he is able to use his expertise in tax and health policy to lend his voice towards pressing issues such as meaningful tax reform and crashing the price of health care.

    David Schweikert has always been committed to public service and he has an impressive record as an effective reformer and problem solver.

    By the age of 30 years old, David was serving as the Majority Whip in the Arizona state legislature. There, he Chaired the Indian Affairs Committee and rolled up his sleeves working on the state budget, healthcare system, and passed landmark tax reform and second amendment legislation.

    Over the years, Arizona’s governors have appointed David to numerous posts. He served as Chair of the state’s tax court and helped negotiate Arizona federal compact with tribal communities.

    After being out of public life for 14 years building a successful Arizona business, David was called to serve as Treasurer of Maricopa County. One of the largest counties in the country, David has been heralded for his pragmatic decision making leading up to the fiscal crisis. Maricopa County increased revenue at a time when municipalities all around the country were going deep into the red.

    Whether serving in elected office, or running a successful Arizona-based family real estate business with his wife Joyce, David Schweikert has been an integral voice in shaping Arizona’s healthy and growing economy.

    As a Member of Congress, David works to remove government barriers to innovation and free enterprise. He is a budget hawk and is continuously fighting for solutions to curb federal spending and reduce American debt.

    David and his wife Joyce enjoy backpacking. They host overnight hikes down the Grand Canyon, and are constantly spending time outdoors with their daughter.

  • U.S. Rep. Juan G. Ciscomani (R-Tucson)

    Congressman Juan Ciscomani represents Arizona’s 6th Congressional District in the United States House of Representatives. Juan and his family immigrated to the United States when he was a young boy. They established roots in Tucson, Arizona, where his father worked as a bus driver to give his children a shot at the American Dream. Growing up in a working class family taught Juan the value of hard work and the importance of a can-do attitude.

    Juan attended public schools in Tucson, Pima Community College and the University of Arizona. He worked his way through school with maintenance and service jobs until becoming the first in his family to graduate from college. After college, Juan worked for the University of Arizona and the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce before joining Arizona Governor Doug Ducey’s administration as Senior Advisor and Vice-Chair of the Arizona-Mexico Commission. Juan focused on the issues of international trade and diplomacy, border security, and economic development.

    In 2022, Juan was elected to represent Arizona’s new 6th congressional district, becoming the first naturalized American citizen from Mexico elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in Arizona history.

    Juan often shares a conversation with his dad where his dad asked him:
    “Where else could we have our story? We come to the US, learn English, immerse in the culture, become US citizens, I drive a bus most of my life, and now my son is a United States Congressman. Where else in the world? Nowhere else, that’s the American Dream.”

    Juan is determined to fight to keep that dream alive for others.

    Juan resides in Tucson with his wife, Laura, and their 6 kids — Zoe, Juan David, Kenny, Lily, Lucas, and Gloria.

  • U.S. Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Mesa)

    Andy Biggs was first elected to serve the people of Arizona’s Fifth District in 2016. He currently serves on the House Oversight and Accountability Committee and the House Judiciary Committee, where he is the Chairman of the Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime and Federal Government Surveillance.

    From 2019 through 2021, he served as Chairman of the House Freedom Caucus. He is currently co-chair of the Border Security Caucus, Vice Chair of the Congressional Western Caucus, and a co-founder of the bipartisan War Powers Caucus.

    Prior to his election to Congress, Andy served in the Arizona State House of Representatives for eight years, and in the Arizona State Senate for six years. In 2012, Andy was elected Senate President.

    Andy received his B.A. in Asian Studies from Brigham Young University, his J.D. from University of Arizona, and his M.A. in Political Science from Arizona State University.

    An Arizona native, Andy and his wife, Cindy, have lived in Gilbert for 35 years. They have six children and are the grandparents of eight grandchildren.

  • U.S. Sen. Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.)

    Congressman Ruben Gallego represents the 3rd District of Arizona, including parts of Phoenix, Glendale, and Tolleson, in the U.S. House of Representatives. He was first elected in 2014.

    Representative Gallego is a Marine Corps combat veteran, a lifelong community leader, and the son of Hispanic immigrants. He was the first in his family to attend college, graduating from Harvard University.

    Congressman Gallego enlisted in the Marine Corps and deployed to Iraq in 2005 as an infantryman, serving with Lima Company, 3rd Battalion, 25th Marines. His Company saw some of the worst fighting of the Iraq War, losing 22 Marines and a Navy Corpsman to enemy action in eight months. Following his experience in Iraq, Congressman Gallego committed to ensuring that servicemen and –women are never sent into harm’s way without a plan for winning the fight, securing the peace, and providing post-conflict medical, psychological and familial care.

    Congressman Gallego was elected to the Arizona House of Representatives in 2010 and served until 2014. As a state legislator, Congressman Gallego became known for his tough stance against extreme legislation pushed by Republicans in the state legislature. He also led the push for Medicaid expansion and securing in-state tuition for veterans.

    In Congress, Representative Gallego has largely focused on U.S. national security during his time in Washington. As a member of the House Armed Services Committee and chair of the Intelligence and Special Operations subcommittee, he has worked tirelessly to ensure the safe return of American troops following the withdrawal from Afghanistan. He has led the effort to support front line allies like the Baltic States and protect our forces in Germany and across Europe.As co-chair for the Baltic Caucus, the Representative has championed funding for the Baltic Security Initiative, which provides critical support to Baltic allies. He has also ensured that U.S. Forces in Korea – the front line of our defense against North Korea – remain a credible deterrent force. With the passage of his NDAA amendments, he has led the response to companies like Huawei and ZTE, state-directed organizations that threaten our national security and our next generation infrastructure. He believes in retaining the United States’ qualitative military edge and in employing U.S. military power only when necessary.

    As a member of the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs and Subcommittee on Economic Opportunity, Representative Gallego works to improve the health and wellbeing of as well as the economic and educational opportunities for veterans by improving care – including mental health care – and oversight at the VA, investing in cutting-edge veterans education and career support programs, and ensuring that all veterans can access the benefits they’ve earned. Rep. Gallego has also championed funding to address veterans’ homelessness in the Phoenix area and across the country, an issue he has been passionate about since he first worked with homeless veterans at a non-profit after leaving the service himself.

    Congressman Gallego is also a member of the House Natural Resources Committee and the Subcommittee for Indigenous Peoples of the United States (SCIP), where he has fought to uphold Tribal sovereignty and our federal trust responsibility to Native Americans and Alaska Natives. As the former Chairman of SCIP, he held the first-ever House hearing on Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, led the fight to protect sacred spaces and affirm Tribal Nations’ right to sovereign homelands, and championed investment in broadband and other critical infrastructure on Tribal land. In addition, he has used his platform on the Natural Resources Committee to advocate for stronger federal land and wildlife conservation laws, public lands policy that combats climate change, and improved public access to America’s iconic public lands.
