On Tuesday, April 22, former Pinnacle High School standout John Lauinger’s current college team, the Oakland Golden Grizzlies, won 8-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Central Michigan Chippewas.

The game took place at Oakland Baseball Field. This was their first matchup against the Chippewas this season.

The Golden Grizzlies’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 25 at 3 p.m. at Bill Aker Baseball Complex against Northern Kentucky Norse.
