On Friday, April 18, former Xavier College Preparatory standout Izzy Hycnar’s current college team, the Minnesota State Mavericks, won 9-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Wayne State Wildcats.
The game took place at Pete Chapman Complex. This was their second matchup against the Wildcats this season.
The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 26 at 12 p.m. at Maverick All-Sports Dome against Augustana Vikings.
