Maricopa County will host its 2026 Reverse Vendor Expo at the end of March, providing an opportunity for businesses to connect with decision makers from various county departments and procurement staff. The event is designed to help companies learn how to do business with the county government.

Board of Supervisors Chair Kate Brophy McGee, District 3, said, “Maricopa County invests hundreds of millions in goods and services each year to serve our residents. Attending the Reverse Vendor Expo is a great place to make valuable commerce connections and learn the ins and outs of doing business with a government entity.”

The expo will offer on-site training sessions that explain what products and services the county purchases, how vendors can register, and guidance on bidding for contracts. Organizers encourage attendees to take advantage of these resources to expand their business opportunities within Maricopa County.

The event is scheduled for March 26, 2026, from 9 a.m. to noon at the MCDOT Procurement Distribution Warehouse located at 2222 S. 27th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85009. Registration is free.

Educational outcomes in Maricopa County remain a challenge for many students. During the 2022-23 school year, about 62.9% of students in grades three through eight did not pass the mathematics section of the AASA exam (https://www.azed.gov/), while only about 36% passed during the following academic year (https://www.azed.gov/). Similarly, high schoolers saw a mathematics ACT passing rate of approximately 33.9% in the most recent school year (https://www.azed.gov/).

In English assessments, nearly 57.2% of third through eighth graders failed during the same period (https://www.azed.gov/), while high schoolers had a failure rate of around 57% on their ACT English exams (https://www.azed.gov/).

Last year’s Reverse Vendor Expo provided similar opportunities for local businesses to engage with county officials.
