The Madison Simis Elementary School recently held a ceremony to dedicate the new Ketel Marte Field. The project was made possible through the support of several organizations, including the Diamondbacks Foundation, RAMMS, and APS.
Principal Lindsay Murray of Madison Simis Elementary School expressed appreciation for those involved in bringing the field to completion. “Youth sports connect the community with families gathering in the sidelines, volunteers coaching and mentoring, and children learning teamwork and perseverance side-by-side,” said Murray.
The school looks forward to seeing students and athletes use the new facility for various activities.
